Job Title: Product & Technical SupportLocation: Cambridge, UK
Status: Full TimeSalary: £18k-£22k dependent on experience
Job Start Date: ImmediateLine Manager: Chief Executive Officer

What you will learn in this role:

  • Provide fantastic 1st/2nd line support to our customers, mostly via forums and email
  • Nurture our user community e.g. organising online gaming competitions
  • Provide support to the software development team e.g. testing new software features
  • Develop beyond the given role, such as supporting the testing team, learning to code and supporting the marketing team (depending on your personal ambitions)

Essential Skills:

  • Very tech-savvy, able to learn new technical concepts and be competent with computers (e.g. >60wpm typing speed)
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Great communication skills. Excellent written and spoken English
  • Personable, with the ability to build rapport with our users

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of configuring own router
  • Experience of troubleshooting network problems
  • Enjoys playing online games
  • Experience of being part of a team
  • Interest in software and the development of software
