The Finals is an action-packet FPS that has players competing in destructible virtual arenas. With so much going on in each game playing on a fast and stable connection is crucial to keep up with the fast paced gameplay.

The best way to achieve this is by players on the best servers, and is this blog we'll show you where The Finals game servers are located and how to force connection to them.

The Finals Best Server Locations

The best The Finals server for a low ping connection will be the servers closest to your location. This is because your in-game ping is calculated based on the physical travel time of your game data from your PC/ console to the game server.

Because of game systems like matchmaking algorithms you might not always play on the local and low ping servers. Other matchmaking factors like your skill level or how long you've been searching for game may cause you connect to less than ideal servers with much higher ping.

This is frustrating as it causes each game to feel different from the last, which can negatively affect your performance game to game. In the next section of the blog we'll show you how to force connection to the low ping servers in The Finals, so you can stop your connection holding your gameplay back.

How to Connection to the Best The Finals Servers

The only way to fully take control over what servers you play on in The Finals is the Geo-Filter feature of the Netduma R3 gaming router. This features allows you to block far away high ping servers, whilst forcing connection to the best low ping The Finals servers.

The Geo-Filter works by creating a filter radius around your location. You can then use the game server map above, or the Ping Heatmap feature of the R3 to find the locations of The Finals game servers. Now you'll be able to customise your filter radius in Geo-Filter to only include the best servers that you want to play on.
