REMATCH Server Locations

REMATCH is a fast-paced, arcade-style 5v5 football game where every millisecond counts. You control a single player and rely on precise dribbling, quick decision-making, and tight teamwork to win.

With its focus on skill-based gameplay, a low ping connection is absolutely essential. A laggy or unstable connection can make the difference between a game-winning goal and a missed opportunity.

The biggest factor that affects your ping in REMATCH is the location of the game server you're connected to. The farther away the server is from your physical location, the longer it takes for data to travel — resulting in higher ping.

That’s why it’s crucial to know where the REMATCH servers are located. Choosing the closest server can significantly reduce your latency and give you a smoother, more responsive gaming experience.

We’ve tested REMATCH during its multiple beta playtests and the full launch to identify the active REMATCH server locations. Check out the map graphic below to find your closest server.

How to Connect to the Best REMATCH Servers

REMATCH has some helpful network settings that allow you to select a matchmaking region. If you open the settings menu, you'll find Preferred Server Location. It will be set to auto by default, but feel free to set it to the region of the world you live in.

This setting only allows you to select a region, rather than a server specifically. Some larger regions like Europe will include multiple different servers, which will differ in connection quality.

The only way to direct choose the server you play on in REMATCH is a gaming router with advanced network features — like our Netduma R3 gaming router. Here is how the R3's powerful gaming features will give you the best connection in REMATCH.

With the Geo-Filter feature, you can:

  • Force a connection to nearby servers for lower ping.
  • Block high ping servers automatically.
  • Customise your server region for the best possible connection in REMATCH.

Another powerful feature on the Netduma R3 is Ping Heatmap. This tool helps you:

  • Discover the exact server locations for REMATCH
  • Test the real time connection quality and ping to each server
  • Identify the fastest servers in your region

If you want to see how the other R3 features can optimise your connection in REMATCH, check out our full REMATCH lag fix blog here.

Once you know which servers give you the best connection, you can set up your Geo-Filter to ensure you're always playing on low ping REMATCH servers.

Rematch Server Status

No matter what REMATCH server you connect to, if they are experiencing issues or overloaded your connection quality may suffer. Given the popularity of the playtests and official launch, it would be safe to assume the servers will be full around peak times. This may cause log in queues or overall higher ping than usual.

The best place to keep up to date with the REMATCH server status is the REMATCH Official X account. The post regular updates on the game, so make sure to check there if you are experiencing a sudden spike in your connection.
